Our future begins with a new vision for Seven Hills: to build a school where every day gives every student a chance to connect with someone or something that inspires them.

The Future of Seven Hills Athletics

Our second major priority in Build. Connect. Inspire. is to continue investing in our athletic facilities to keep pace with the extraordinary growth of our programs at all ages: from Doherty and Lotspeich through to our Middle and Upper Schools.

It’s time to invest in our growing, competitive athletic programs with two carefully chosen enhancements: a new four-court field house and six new tennis courts. Together, these projects will not just support our athletes; they will strengthen the values that ground our athletics program: dedication and responsibility, teamwork and fair play.

For so many students, athletics is a tremendously important aspect of their education. In athletics, you learn what it’s like to carry responsibility on your shoulders. You learn how to prepare for an upcoming challenge, to work with others, to win with grace, and to lose with resilience and renewed sense of purpose.

Yet today, the extraordinary scope of our athletics program strains the limits of our existing on-campus facilities—pushing practices later into the evening and, in some cases, off-campus.

  • Students can wrap their days up earlier and get home to spend time with their studies, friends and families

  • New tennis courts will help relieve tennis coaches from the scheduling challenge of booking public courts offsite for team practices

  • Updates made during Build. Connect. Inspire. will pave the way for additional athletics facilities in our campus master plan, including four more tennis courts, a multi-purpose field, and another baseball field adjacent to the new Schiff Center

When our student-athletes step out onto the field—whether it’s for practice or the big game—we see them begin to transform. As they develop confidence and camaraderie, a chain reaction begins: they find leadership. Self-respect. Discipline. Empowerment.

Athletics isn’t only a central part of the Seven Hills experience—it’s a powerful catalyst in our students’ lives. And with your support today, we’ll have the ability to honor and nurture that growth in every student.
